Bill Farragher

Broker/Manager: Monmouth County Office

Residential Listings and Sales, Short Sales, REO’s and First Time Home Buyers

William “Bill” Farragher started in real estate as a salesperson in September 1999. He left corporate America to pursue his passion of helping people achieve the American Dream of home ownership. Four years later he got his Broker’s license and just two short years later opened his own EXIT franchise. He owned and operated EXIT First Choice Realty in Woodbridge, NJ from June 2005 until April 2012.
Bill is one of the most positive people you will ever meet. His optimism is contagious. One of his claims to fame is that he has a 99.98% closing rate while representing Buyers and Sellers, once a property is under contract. He successfully grew his office during one of the hardest periods in real estate over the last 40 years. He has a unique management style. He is looking forward to the next stage of his career, being the Broker Manger of EXIT Blue Water Realty in Marlboro, NJ.
Bill served as a Director on the Middlesex County Association of Realtors from 2010 until 2012 and servers on several committees today. Bill has also been a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors as the Middlesex County Chapter 2010 Education Committee Chair and the 2011-2012 Treasurer. He truly believes in the purpose of the organization and knows it’s not just for women.
He is the loving husband of Karen; they have been married for over 30 years. You will hear him say “I’m still a newlywed” and happily means it. With having no children of his own, he gets to spoil his nieces and nephew. He is known throughout the youth organization as “UB” which lovingly stands for Uncle Bill.
Bill grew up in North Bergen in Hudson County, NJ. After graduating high school, he spent the next four years in the United States Army as Finance Specialist. He was honorably discharged in December 1980 as a Sepcialist 5. Bill says “he enjoyed his time in the service but didn’t like to wear a uniform all the time” so he got out and went to work for NJ Transit for the next 17 years (so much for not liking uniforms). Then changed careers and industries and went to work for The Haddad Organization in Bayonne for the next 2 ½ years.
When he is not working, his two favorite hobbies are reading and Disney World. He frequently helps out the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. He has been on a Habitat Build and enjoyed it immensely. For many years he raised money for The Children’s Cancer Hospital. He still participates in other charity events throughout the year.
Bill enjoys reading success stories, positive mental attitude and business books. He says he’s probably read more books than most college graduates. He had over 1,000 books in his personal library but once he finished reading them, he passes them along to others.
